Andrea knows how - and when - to use her sex appeal ;o). She is very flirty on stage and a pleasure to watch!
She's also very funny/cheeky, and is known to be a bit "dizzy" - Jim calls her "Danger Dizzy"
She loses everything (reason why she plays the whistle ... because it's the cheapest instrument she found ;o)). Andrea excelled academically, and considered going on to university. Like her siblings, she was taught classical piano by their father. Like her brother and sister Caroline, Andrea has her licence to drive.
Studies:
From what we know, Andrea learnt German for 3 years and French for 2 years. She had intended to go on to university after she received multiple honours in her Leaving Cert results, but she opted to join her family and pursue music. She is a voracious reader, and cites Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Fyodor Dostoyevsky as two of her favourite writers
Free time occupations:
Reading, drinking tea, talking walks, seeing her friends ...and sometimes acting - she was featured in The Commitments, and Evita

Anything comfortable and warm. She rarely wears trousers and you'll never seen her in jeans !!
During the 'Forgiven not Forgotten' tour, Andrea used to wear long black leather boots
Favourite Music:
Andrea, as a teenager, was fan of Nik Kershaw, Depeche Mode, and was "mega" into Prince (in Sharon's words). She considers Paul Simon to be her favourite lyricist, and Supergrass to be her favourite British band
Anecdote:
One day, after a concert the band gave in a small venue (in the early days of the band), Andrea was talking with 2 (boring??) journalists, and saw a fan entering the room. She abandoned them straightaway to go and talk to the fan and first thing Andrea told her was "Hey, I've seen you during the show!!" She then just apologised for sweating on her (because it was summer and the concert room was just like a sauna during the show ;o)). She obviously has her priorities straight! :o).
